Meet Your Dietitian
Our Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Lin Roberts, MS, RDN, LDN, recently joined the Sodexo Universities dining team to work with students in navigating the campus dining environment andto assist in meeting food preferences, nutritional needs and individual wellness goals. Lin holds a master's degree in health science, along with a certification as a health coach, with years of clinical experience in the healthcare environment, focusing on mindful eating, weight management and lifestyle nutrition counseling and education.
Menu Allergens
Our menu system provides ingredient statements specifically highlighting the big nine allergens: milk, eggs, shellfish, fish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy & sesame and gluten. Guests may check on the presence of allergens prior to planning their meals using the online menu, Everyday App, and nutrition calculator. The absence of an allergen listed on posted or electronic product signage is not a guarantee that the product is free of that allergen. The guest is responsible for communicating their allergy to a supervisor or manager to ensure safety.
Food Allergies

Wetake pride in sourcing wholesome ingredients, preparing recipes accurately and providing nutritional analysis and ingredient statements through our online menus and nutrition calculator. We are all passionate about serving students. From General Manager to Front Line Servers, we work diligently to address students’ specific needs, especially those with food allergies, celiac disease, or other special diet needs.
A team approach led by you, our educated consumer, is the best preparation for a safe school year free of allergic reactions. We want to meet one-on-one with all of our customers who have individual dining needs to ensure that your dining experience is safe, delicious, and social. Have an issue with gluten, milk, tree-nuts or peanuts? Check out Simply3!
Our new Simply3 station, previously My Zone, helps to ensure your food is safely prepared to minimize cross-contact with gluten, nuts (tree nuts, peanuts) and milk. In addition to a balanced meal at lunch and dinner, we carry an assortment of gluten, peanut & tree-nut free cereals, desserts and breads.
The menu items at Simply3 are prepared using recipes and ingredients that do not contain gluten, peanuts, tree nuts or milk. We take care to minimize cross-contact in our storage, prep and service of these menu items. However, they are prepared in a facility that also prepares recipes with allergens such as soy, egg, fish, milk, shellfish, wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, and gluten. Additionally, we cannot control exposure to allergens or gluten by food manufacturers or our suppliers.

Mindful
Mindful is Sodexo's health & wellness approach that helps you make healthy choices second nature! We are committed to creating healthy environments for our customers. Central to this effort is providing healthy, nutritious foods. The result of this initiative is an approach that focuses on transparency of ingredients, delicious food, satisfying portions and clarity in message so that you can make Mindful choices!
Mindful offerings meet stringent nutritional criteria based on the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. Each meal part is limited in calories, has fewer than 30% of calories as fat, fewer than 10 % of calories as saturated fat, and is restricted in sodium, and cholesterol. Look for the Mindful icon to indulge in the healthy and delicious items offered at each meal.
Vegetarian
Menu items with the vegetarian icon contain no meat, fish or poultry, or any meat products such as soup base. Our vegetarian offerings meet the needs of lacto-ovo vegetarians and may include eggs and/or dairy products.
Vegan
Vegan offerings contain no meat, fish, eggs, milk or other animal-derived products such as honey.
