
Performance Plate
The Savory Station in Walton Dining Commons has been reimagined to serve the growing demand for great-tasting, balanced meals with a new platform called Performance Plate.
Performance Plate menu offerings are uniquely designed to help fuel performance on campus – athletics and academics alike. Chef-created meals are thoughtfully balanced to provide the right mix of macronutrients.
- Protein: 20 – 25% of calories
- Carbohydrates: 50 – 60% of calories
- Fat: 20 – 25% of calories
The menu features entrée-style lunch options and a more built-to-order experience at dinner. With proper portioning, student-athletes and health-focused diners will find these meals support optimal fueling before, during, and after workouts or classes.
Performance Plate makes it easy to build a well-balanced meal, offering a daily rotation of two proteins- including new plant-based options – alongside a variety of grains, carbohydrates, and vegetables, and seasonal sides.
Student favorites from past semesters at the Savory Station (such as Taco Days) will still be offered, just at different locations within the Dining Commons.
